Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Andrew Hoefling Dev Tools handles information when you use the JSON Formatter, Base64 Decoder, Unix Timestamp Converter, and related information pages.
Tool inputs stay in your browser
The core conversions run locally in the current browser tab. The site does not create user accounts and does not intentionally upload or save your JSON, Base64 content, selected files, filenames, timestamps, or conversion results.
Optional preferences
The site may store non-sensitive display preferences in your browser under ah-dev-tools:preferences:v1. These can include theme, JSON indentation, timestamp unit, time zone, and date style. Clearing site data removes them.
Hosting request data
The hosting provider may process basic request logs needed to deliver and protect the site. Depending on the provider, those logs can include an IP address, user-agent string, request time, and requested page. Tool input and results are not intentionally added to URLs or request logs.
Analytics
No product analytics are required for the tools to work. If privacy-conscious analytics are enabled later, they must not include tool input, file content, clipboard content, or conversion results.
Fonts and scripts
Fonts are served with the site rather than fetched from a third-party font service. The core tools do not require third-party conversion scripts or remote APIs.
Your choices
You can use the tools without an account, clear the editor at any time, and remove stored preferences through your browser’s site-data controls.
