By using Andrew Hoefling Dev Tools, you agree to use the site lawfully and to review its results before relying on them.

Tools provided as is

The tools are provided as available, without a promise that every output will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular system. You are responsible for checking results in the context where you plan to use them.

Important limits

• Base64 is an encoding format, not encryption or access control.
• The JSON Formatter does not support every JSON-like dialect and may normalize parsed values.
• The Base64 Decoder cannot identify every character encoding or file type.
• Timestamp results depend on your device clock and the time-zone data supported by your browser.
• Historical or unusual time-zone rules may differ between browser versions.

Authorized use

Only process data you are allowed to use. Do not use the site to expose secrets, violate privacy, distribute harmful content, interfere with the service, or break applicable law.

Responsibility and liability

You remain responsible for backups, security reviews, production changes, and decisions based on an output. To the extent permitted by law, the site owner is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the tools.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated by publishing a revised version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply.
